The news is still unfolding, but at least two NJ Transit buses have crashed in Newark, and it looks like there are multiple injuries, some serious.
One bus is heavily damaged by the impact of another bus,from this 6:00 a.m. accident.
The incident occurred near Broad Street and Raymond Avenue, and victims are being taken away by EMT personnel.
One witness said he's never seen anything "look so bad".
It is reported that at least two people are dead. Local police reported one of the bus drivers was killed in the accident.
The buses were on their way to Newark Penn Station when the accident occurred.
The two buses involved in this fatal crash were one that originated at Arlington station, and another bus that was traveling from New York City Port Authority to South Orange.
