Join Montclair State University volunteers for day of service

Posted

On Saturday, September 14, 2013, Montclair State University students, faculty, staff and alumni will join together to volunteer in their local communities in remembrance of the victims and heroes of 9/11 for the National Day of Service. This is the fifth consecutive year Montclair State is participating in this day of service, charity and compassion by helping with projects in the local community—from neighborhood cleanups to stocking local food pantry shelves.

The entire University community is invited to join in this worthwhile project to serve our neighbors. All those who would like to participate should be at the Student Center Ballrooms on September 14 at 8:00 a.m. to register. Participants may park in CarParc Diem free of charge for the day.

Full details about the day, including descriptions of the service projects scheduled is available at 2013 National Day of Service.

Montclair State’s National Day of Service is presented by the Center for Student Involvement, Alumni Relations, Residential Education and Services, Service-Learning and Community Engagement, University and Community Relations, and Parking Services.
