Nutley Little Theatre will be presenting "Oleanna", by David Mamet . The play is directed by Amy Sellars of Ridgewood and features Juliana Valente of Wayne and Nick Pascarella of Ho-Ho-Kus. Stage manager is Janis Wolfe of Nutley.

In "Oleanna", John , a meticulously flawed college professor, meets with Carol, his equally flawed student to discuss her grades. What seems an innocuous conference ends as a destructive firestorm derived from John's words, and Carol's singular interpretation. David Mamet's 1992 play, with its trademark stylistic dialogue, keenly portrays the veracity of the "he said, she said " debate from an era when the Anita Hill trials had principally captivated the country. This play, which will leave audiences undisputed long after the theater doors have closed, contains adult situations and content and is not suitable for children.

Rights for the play are held by Dramatist Play Service Inc.
