In honor of Black History Month, acclaimed singer Stephen Fuller of Newark and his renowned quartet will present a lively concert of jazz, blues, calypso, Broadway, and bossa nova music on Sunday, February 25 at 2:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

The musicians are Stephen Fuller on vocals, Tomoko Onho on piano, Belden Bullock on bass and Gordon Lane on drums. They will fuse together jazz standards, blues, Afro-Caribbean calypso music, Brazilian bossa nova hits and some familiar Broadway tunes.

Fuller, a Newark native, has been described by the Star-Ledger as "a dynamic bass/ baritone with a lush and sensuous style that adds a little fire to his performances."

This concert, co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required. To sign-up, call the Library at 973-226-5441 or sign-up online at http://tinyurl.com/WCPL-Events.
