At this month’s Family Day, it’s all about science at the Shultz House, an amazing, fully-intact time capsule that takes you away to life in the early 20th century. Charles Shultz was always experimenting with science in his home, and today we’ll find out what’s behind the museum rope in his science library. Scientist and Montclair parent, Patricia Abad, PhD, will lead children on a microscopical adventure, exploring some of the biological slides Charles Shultz made himself in the early 1900s. Children will create their own biological slide specimens and compare them to the past. Admission is free, as this program is sponsored by Investors Bank. Registration requested at 973-744-1796 or mail@montclairhistorical.org. Drop in hours from 1 to 4 pm. 30 North Mountain Avenue, Montclair. www.montclairhistory.org.
