Are you interested in learning how to trace your ancestors? If so, then you may be interested in attending a "Genealogy Workshop" at the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road, on Thursday, December 13 at 6:30 pm.
Karen Kelly, Library Manager, and Beverly Crifasi, Vice President of the Historical Society of West Caldwell, will lead a basic workshop on how to trace your ancestors using the website Ancestry.com. They will discuss how to search surname meanings and obituaries as well as how to conduct an historical person search. Searching historical collections such as vital records, census records and military records will also be discussed.
