Opera Theatre of Montclair will present a family-friendly, abridged production of Mozart's "The Magic Flute" on Saturday, April 14 at 1:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road, West Caldwell.
Adults and children will enjoy this fully costumed fairy tale with a theme of love and good versus evil. It's a fun-filled musical fantasy and adventure involving a prince, a deadly serpent, a funny bird catcher named Papageno, and a beautiful princess who must be rescued.
Children volunteers from the audience will be invited to play the roles of dragons, forest animals, spirits and baby birds.
