A new U.S. COVID federal website is now live with an easy-to-manage menu for all Americans. It's a thorough, clear tool-kit to understand the shifting data and medical help during COVID.

The website, Covid.gov, is updated in real-time daily and includes sections with specific data and how-to information.

What sets this site apart is the treatment section, which shares a simple guide on how and where to get help when you are infected with COVID. The new website is extremely streamlined, so you can find your area of concern and use clickable links to get help.

I found the site easy to manage, and I highly recommend you keep the link handy, since the Pandemic is still among us.

On the treatment page, for example,  you will see, in part,  this info and much more:

Drugs Approved or Authorized for Use

  • The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) can issue emergency use authorizationsexternal icon (EUAs) to allow healthcare providers to use products that are not yet approved, or that are approved for other uses, to treat patients with COVID-19 in the U.S. if certain legal requirements are met.
  • The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has developed and regularly updates Treatment Guidelinesexternal icon to help guide healthcare providers caring for patients with COVID-19, including when clinicians might consider using one of the products allowed for use under a EUA.Be sure to check out this area, at the bottom of the Treatment Page.
