New bill is redesigned with the customer in mind

PSE&G Unveils New Clearer, Easier to Read Customer Bill

Posted

Beginning in April, customers will see a new crisper, cleaner and more colorful bill from Public Service Electric and Gas Company (PSE&G). The new bill design is clearer and easier to read, while providing valuable information to help customers understand and manage their energy usage and costs. The last major bill redesign was more than 15 years ago.

“PSE&G’s new residential and commercial bills were redesigned with the customer in mind,” said Greg Dunlap, PSE&G vice president of customer operations. “We spend a lot of time talking with our customers about how we could improve their experience with us. They wanted a simplified bill to make it easier to find what they’re looking for and one that delivers more useful information. This new bill addresses their needs.”

Here’s a quick look at the new PSE&G bill:

•Larger bill and envelope

•Easier to read with a more colorful design

•Balance due, due date, next meter reading date and ways to reach us and stay connected more prominently displayed

•Clearly defined and useful information to better understand the bill

•Valuable energy usage information to help save energy and money

It’s important to note that all customer information such as account number and meter number will remain the same.

Bill payment options also remain unchanged. There are a number of convenient ways to pay. Also, customers will still be able to access their past 13 months of billing history. Visit www.pseg.com/myaccount for more information.

PSE&G’s new bill design is just one way we’re making it easier for customers to do business with us. Also coming this spring, our redesigned website will provide simplified content that is more useful and easier to navigate. The responsive design of the website will also optimize customers’ online experience from any mobile device, tablet or desktop.
