Food historian and Certified Tea Specialist Judith Krall-Russo will present a lecture titled “Tea, Food & Fashion from Jane Austen to Queen Victoria” on Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.

Krall- Russo will discuss author Jane Austen’s life in the Regency Era and the many similarities and differences with the Victorian Era. You will learn about tea, food, fashion and more during these two different time periods. You will also discover how the Industrial Revolution had an impact on these two eras.

This lecture, co-sponsored by the Friends of the Library, is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
