The West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road, will present a poetry reading from the poetry anthology "The Book of Donuts" on Sunday, October 15 from 1:00 - 4:00 pm in the Community Room. Local award-winning poet Diane Lockward will host the poetry reading and her press Terrapin Books published the anthology. Nine poets will read their unique and creative poems about different varieties of donuts and will explain why the donuts appeal to them. Some of the poets participating in the reading include Jane Ebihara, Marjorie Maddox, Charlotte Mandel (West Caldwell), Brent Pallas, Martha Silano, Carole Stone (Verona) and Eileen Van Hook. A reception will follow the program with refreshments provided by Glaze Donuts of West Caldwell. This poetry reading is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
