“The Dome” Rooftop Lounge at The Manor in West Orange is hosting a live music series featuring The Mark Peterson Band, accompanied each night by a female special guest vocalist.
The band will perform contemporary interpretations of musical arrangements from the early eras of jazz, swing, and the American Songbook, seamlessly mixed with the funk & soul of Motown as well as twists on today’s pop hits.
LaJuan Carter has worked on stage or in-studio with artists such as Stevie Wonder, Celine Dion, James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, Moby, Gladys Knight, Vanessa Williams, and many more.
Guests are invited to dance along “under the stars” beneath the all-glass enclosed “domed” dance floor. An outdoor roof deck is also open, weather permitting, that overlooks The Manor’s formal gardens.
The Dome offers a full bar. A lounge menu is also available from 6:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m.
In celebration of The Manor’s pending 60th Anniversary, there is only a $10 cover charge for the live music performances.
Immediately following the live music, there will be a DJ performance from 10:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m., each night.
The live music series will continue for ever Friday in December (2016).
