Award-winning local poet Charlotte Mandel will present a poetry reading from her new anthology "To Be the Daylight" on Sunday, April 29 at 2:00 pm in the Community Room of the West Caldwell Public Library, 30 Clinton Road.
The poems describe her personal journeys from childhood on a Coney Island beach to her feminist leap from muteness to strength and finally to discovery of inner peace. Her skillful poetic form lights up moments of human connection while dealing with the chaos of world news.
