Unmasking Domestic Violence Masquerade Award Ceremony & Fundraiser

Coresswc presents is first presidential award ceremony honoring individuals that have made a significant contribution on both the local and national level. In attendance and national award honoree is Mildred D. Muhammad, ex-wife of the DC Sniper and domestic violence survivor. Mildred Muhammad continues to serve on the national level helping domestic violence victims. Through her leadership and national presence she has been seen on Oprah, Larry King, NBC, CBS News, Fox News Katie Couric and Investigation Discovery. She is also a published writer having written several books on domestic violence.

In addition, several other honorees will be award as well. They are as follows:

Fraidy Reiss founder of Unchained

Ruth Kleiman, Executive Director of Rachael Coalition

Mary Houtsma, Director of the Family Justice Center

Simona Badger, Social Worker for Abused Women

The funds obtained during this award ceremony will go to assist families transitioning out of abused relationships.
